Traffic

Ok this post is a rant--a rant about traffic.  Well.....not really about traffic.  Really it's more about drivers--you know, those people who make cars do really dumb things.  I have so many complaints about dumb drivers that I can't think of them all right now, so I'll mention the one that's currently on my mind.  As I think of more I'll add them to the comments.

I realize that not everyone has cruise control.  But it's really not that hard to maintain a consistent speed when you're cruising on the interstate.  It's so stinkin' irritating when someone gets in your lane in front of you, and then you have to pass them--and then they fly up behind you like you're driving 20 below the limit and fly by you--then they get over in front of you and slow down again!  That's just insane!  Why can't you keep a consistent speed?!  I know that hills can sometimes altar the speeds a bit, but you should be able to maintain a 5 mph margin at least!

Ok, that one is done.  One last question though:  can someone tell me why we don't have drivers' tests more often...like every year or something.  I realize that's a bit inconvenient, but maybe we could cut down on the stupid people a bit?  Or at least show them when they're messing up everyone else because of their dumb driving habits!
